Admission Policy


  • To ensure that the school gets maximum admissions possible without making a compromise.
  • To have a fair and transparent policy for all parents.

Applicable to: This policy applies to all the parents seeking admission for their wards in Adani Schools throughout.

Policy Guidelines: This policy sets out Adani Schools’ Admission process including information relating to:

1. Admission Criteria:

1.1 Total Number of students to be admitted shall be decided as per the status of the school.

1.2 The Maximum number of students in each section shall be 40.

1.3 Ratio between Boys and Girls can be decided by the respective IMC.

1.4 Ratio between the Vernacular Medium Students and English Medium Students can be decided by the respective IMC from time to time.

1.5 Age Criteria will be decided by the IMC and the Principal in alignment with the affiliating body as well as state government norms.

1.7 The location and other related criteria can be decided by the respective IMC.

1.11 Documents to be collected along with the Admission Form:

 Application Form duly filled in

 Birth Certificate of Child

 3 recent passport sized photographs of the child

 Proof of residence for AVMs (e.g., water & electricity bill, Aadhar, Bank statement, a copy of SARS IRP.5, Rent statement with parent’s name and residential address printed thereon), copies of both the parents / Guardians’ I.D. proofs as applicable.

 Divorce Order / Divorce Agreement, if applicable.

 Mark sheets of the last annual exam and the latest first terminal exam

 Any additional documents as may be prescribed by the School from time to time.

2. Screening of Applications

2.1.1 The School shall use a holistic approach while reviewing applications.

2.2 An Administrative staff or an experienced staff member will be designated each year as the admission officer at the commencement of the admission process. He or she ensures and verifies that the parents submit the relevant documents along with the application form.

2.4 The screening will be done by the respective Principals.

2.5 All the supporting documents are to be duly reviewed, in addition to the admission application form.

2.6 The Management Committee develops guidelines for the screening process each year.

2.7 Applications will be collected only at the Schools and immediately data shall be fed into computer. Entries, which are not fulfilling the criteria, are rejected by the admission officer.

2.8 Admission officer or the supporting team member prepares and distributes ID cards for the Ability Test to the selected students and maintain the record of the same.

3. Ability Test Criteria:

3.1 The eligibility criterion of Ability Test is set by the IMC members on the basis of previous year’s records.

4. Conducting the Ability Test

4.3 A circular with details of conducting ability test and time schedule for Phase I and Phase II tests shall be circulated and if required an orientation for staff members shall be done.

5. Merit List Criteria: Merit list is prepared on the basis of 70% of Ability Test and 30% of the students’ previous result (average of last final mark sheet and the latest first term mark sheet – core subject only).

6.1 Selected parents are informed through a voice message to collect a letter for personal interaction, which has to be submitted at the time of interaction.

6.2 All successful applications are notified in writing along with the date and time of personal interaction.

6.3 Once successful in personal interaction, the parents / guardians will be given the ‘Acceptance Letter, who they in turn will have to submit with the required documents within ten days of the acceptance being granted. Failing to do so, the offer of acceptance will be cancelled to facilitate admission to those, who are in the waiting list.

6.4 Parents or Guardians of all Adani Schools shall submit the original LC to the school office within one month of the confirmation of admission.

7. Orientation for Parents: Orientation for the parents will be conducted by the Principal on a given date and agenda will be decided prior to the presentation.

8. Induction of Students: The Principal is responsible for the arrangement of induction in liaison with the staff members. Newly admitted students are duly and properly entered in the General Register once original LC is received.



Parents come for Admission Enquiry (Age wise criteria is been checked by Admin Office).(Age Criteria as attached) . Fee Structure explained by Accountant also hard copy is put up on Board.

Purchase Of Registration Form or online registration (Rs. 300/ Receipt of the same given to parent along with the information of required docs to be submitted.

  • Pre –Primary – Birth Certificate Copy Self attested by parent, Aadhar Card Copy, 3 Passport size Photo, Caste Certificate (If OBC/SC/BC/ any Scheduled Caste.
  • Other Classes – Bonafide Certificate/ Transfer Certificate (Compulsory), Aadhar Card Copy, Previous year Marksheet, 3 Passport Size Photos, Caste Certificate (If OBC/SC/BC/ any Scheduled Caste.

Submission Of Registration Form: Cross Check of Registration form with attached docs. Once Verified Syllabus for Entrance test to be handed over to Parent/ or if online auto email to parent.

Call or email – allotting  date & Time for admission Test: Admission Summary Sheet to be filed by admin office, Question paper and answer sheet to be handed to child. 1 hour to be allotted to complete the test.

Answer Sheet to be submitted to Coordinator for checking:  Coordinators allot certain slot of checking of answer sheet to respective teachers. Remarks and signature to be put in the summary sheet. The same to be submitted in admin office. Principal and VP remarks to be put on in the summary sheet

Call/ email – Admission or Retest/ Admission rejected:  After the confirmation of admission parent to submit  original docs and 4 Post Dated Cheque (PDC) or pay online fees . In case of Retest child to be called for retest. In case of Admission rejected same to be informed to parent.

Admission Entry/Admission Confirmation: Entry in  School App as per the docs attached, allot class as per the class strength. Download admission form after data entry; print the same on Green Paper. Get it sign by the parent and then Principal.

Mobile App Entry – Allocation of Username & Password to parent: Make entry in school Mobile app, Hand over Id & Password to parent and make them understand how to us the app.

Provide Detail to the Parents: Give detail regarding new academic session starting dates, Lunch break timing, School Timing, Bus Timing and Provide contact no. of the Bus in charge and administrator.
