Investiture ceremony provides students with the opportunity to step into leadership roles. Through the process of nomination, election and appointment, students learn valuable lessons about responsibility, accountability and decision-making. These roles help them to develop leadership skills, organizational abilities and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
The students are future leaders. Therefore, nurturing them and fostering in them a sense of self-respect, self-discipline and the willingness to care for others are extremely important. Not losing sight of the fact, Adani Public School, Mundra organized the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2024-25 with great enthusiasm and dignity in the school on 12th August, 2024. The Chief Guest for the program was Col. Arvind Singh Bedi, the Head of Security Department APSEZ. He was given a formal welcome by the Director of Education (Kutch region) and In-charge Principal Ms. Meeta Jadeja. The program started by lighting the pious lamp. It was followed by the felicitation of the school prefectorial board.
The students dressed in their splendid house colours added to the grandeur of the event. The elected Leaders from Classes IX to XII were conferred with badges and sashes by Col. Arvind Singh Bedi, In – charge Principal Ms. Meeta Jadeja and Vice Principal Dr. Renu Patidar. In – charge Principal Ms. Meeta Jadeja, performed the oath-taking ceremony. Student council took the pledge to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.
The Chief Guest Col. Arvind Singh Bedi in his speech explained the importance of leadership. He emphasized on the development of qualities like adaptability, flexibility and team work. He also addressed them to be impartial and honest while discharging their duties. The event came to a crescendo by the vote of thanks given by Ms. Parul Gadhvi, followed by National Anthem.
