Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum at Adani Public School. The school has 120 computers available for 3 computer labs viz. Junior Level, Middle Level and Senior Level.
Students are trained to learn the latest software applications and programming languages. The school offers computer education from Class I to Class XII. The highly qualified teachers impart computer skills and fully equip the students for the challenges of the computer age.
The trailblazing Physics lab is adequately equipped to help the students learn the concept of Physics with hands on experience. The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnets, beams, glass prisms and spring balance to advanced apparatus like the dark room, ammeter, spectrometer and voltmeter to name a few. Experiments are designed to critically engage students’ minds so they acquire the manual and mental skills associated with learning Physics.
In order to foster the budding scientists within the students, the advanced Chemistry lab is fully equipped with chemicals and apparatus to ensure that the students are in touch with all the latest techniques in this realm. Students are taught about the aspect of safety before they get down to conducting experiments, and are also provided separate workstations where they learn to handle various chemicals and apparatus.
The Bio lab is well equipped with instruments, microscopes, digiscope, models, charts and other specimens which is planned to meet the demands of the advancement in Science and Technology. The projector makes the lessons more effective and interesting. Students are encouraged to use this lab to learn through experiments which kindles their curiosity to learn about the flora and fauna around us, and their interaction with the teacher influences their learning experience.
Language is considered an essential part of the communication paradigm with Speaking and Listening skills being a dominant factor, alongside reading and writing skills. The school has tied up with Cambridge to introduce Cambridge English Language lab and Coding Sandpit. English Language Lab helps in augmenting the students’ speaking and listening skills, as well as, grooming their body language. In the lab, the students listen to the pre-recorded clips by experts followed by different exercises. Teamwork is also encouraged where students are divided into groups to discuss on the topic that they have to present, which stimulates their eagerness to speak.
Coding Sandpit is a step by step initializer for students to learn coding in a fun and engaging way with Code Monkey, which focuses on teaching computing which promotes problem solving, computational thinking, and critical reasoning skills. It is a fun and educational game-based environment where kids learn to code without any prior experience. After completing CodeMonkey's award-winning coding courses, kids will be able to navigate through the programming world with a sense of confidence and accomplishment.
CodeMonkey offers educational resources for students of different grades and experience levels. From CodeMonkey Jr. to Banana Tales, students not only learn coding basics, but also how to code in real programming languages. Through CodeMonkey, kids will develop the necessary skills for the future while having fun!
Atal Tinkering Lab has been introduced in the month of March, 2021, which is envisaged to be a playground to play and learn science beyond school text books, through application based self-learning, to foster solutions to community problems. It targets the young innovators of Class VI-XII and helps them in learning innovative skills like problem-solving, creative thinking abilities, and adaptive learning, etc. The students are provided with tools & equipment using which they develop a solid foundation of STEM learning concepts in an easy manner.
The A.T.L. introduces students to a very different micro-environment, which allows freedom to explore new 7 ideas, test them, and follow a 'learning by doing' approach and is powered to acquaint students with state of art equipment such as 3D printers, Robotics & Electronics Development tools, IOT and Sensors, soldering etc.
